  3. This option allows you to select the type of connection being
  4. used between the computer and the printer.
  5.  
  6. nModem Settings
  7.  
  8. This option allows you to indicate your modem settings which are
  9. used with the "Dial Number" option. The "Dial Number" option
  10. allows you to do something else while your modem redials a busy
  11. BBS (Bulletin Board System) or some other modem number.

  13. oPort
  14.  
  15. This option allows you to select the serial port wich connects
  16. your modem to the computer.
  17.  
  18. pBaud Rate
  19.  
  20. This option allows you to select the baud rate which will be used
  21. to establish a connection with called computer.

  23. NOTE: The called computer's modem must support the selected baud
  24. rate.

  26. qData Bits
  27.  
  28. This option allows you to specify the number of data bits in a
  29. character.

  31. NOTE: The called computer's modem must use the same setting.

  35. This option allows you to specify how the system uses the parity
  36. bit to check for transmission errors.

  42. This option allows you to specify the number of stop bits that
  43. define the end of a character.

  47. tDial Command
  48.  
  49. This option allows you to specify the command sent to the modem
  50. to instruct it to dial the specified telephone number. The
  51. default setting "ATD" will work with all Hayes compatible modems.

  53. uWait For Answer
  54.  
  55. This option allows you to specify the number of seconds that may
  56. elapse, after dialing the number, before MU assumes it is busy
  57. and starts a redial. You may enter a value between 1 and 60.

  59. xUse Expanded Memory
  60.  
  61. This option allows you to specify whether or not expanded memory
  62. should be used. When used, MU runs in expanded memory leaving
  63. maximum memory for DOS programs. An expanded memory manager must
  64. be loaded to make this memory available to programs such as MU.
  65. DOS 5.0 provides the device driver EMM386 for this purpose.

  67. You may instead use DOS's LOADHIGH command to have MU loaded into
  68. the upper memory area. If you decide to do this, you must set
  69. "Use Expanded Memory" option to "No". See your DOS manual for
  70. information on EMM386 and the LOADHIGH command.

  72. NOTE: 64K of expanded memory or upper memory is required.
  73. éActivation Hotkey

  75. This option allows you to specify the key combination needed
  76. to press to activate Morton Utilities when installed in memory.

  83. the cursor location, keyboard lock keys status, and the current
  84. date/time in the upper right corner of the screen. These options
